Zipline Shuttle - 1.3km

Ziplines can be a unique and exciting experience in their own right, however they can also be a legitimate means to an end.

Skiiers can now glide like an Eagle, for 1300m, from the 3 Valleys peak at 3230 m over to the Val Thorens crest, at 3000 m, at the top of the Thorens Funitel.

Congratulations Tom (Rope Runner) on another exemplary installation.

An example of skyscape activation through innovative and sympathetic architecture.

The kids from the Soaring Heights children’s program at the Venice Zipline, alongside their instructors, presented their zipline performance recently.

Their instructors included professional performers from shows like Cirque Du Soleil, Motley Crüe, Lucent Dossier Experience and The Glitch Mob.

The Pull of Ziplines

The Kansas City Star has an article indicating that the Kentucky Creation Museum has rolled out a zipline to try to bring in new visitors.

John Gerner, a leisure consultant who has studied religious attractions highlighted that Zip lines in particular are very, very popular nationwide and was quoted as saying "the new additions at the museum, namely the zip lines, are a good strategy to attract new and repeat visitors".
